Vivo X300 Ultra and Vivo X300s receive Blueprint Native Color technology

The Vivo X300 Ultra and Vivo X300s smartphones are set to arrive in March. One of their key features will be Blueprint Native Color technology, designed to deliver more natural colour reproduction, improve the camera’s light sensitivity and create an impression of professional image processing.

Vivo is the first company in the industry to introduce its new Smooth EV dynamic compression algorithm. This dynamic computing architecture intelligently recombines multi-frame HDR data, retaining rich detail while ensuring smooth transitions in bright areas. Addressing the long-standing industry challenge of matching brightness with colour, Vivo has unveiled its proprietary Blueprint colour model, which makes colours more closely resemble what the human eye sees as tones change.

Vivo X300 Ultra camera and video features

The Vivo X300 Ultra is positioned as a professional camera in smartphone form. It supports 4K video at up to 120 frames per second in 10-bit Log and Dolby Vision formats, as well as slow-motion recording, 4K portrait mode at 60 frames per second and time-lapse shooting.

Its 200 MP Thanos telephoto camera, equipped with a full stabilisation system, provides 3° optical stabilisation comparable to a gimbal and enables 30x zoom video recording without a loss of quality.

According to product manager Han Boxiao, the new technology produces natural, unobtrusive colours, preserves skin texture and realistically reproduces light and shadow, creating a “breathing” image effect.
