Leaked images of the upcoming Nova Flip have surfaced, offering an early look at the handset’s design.

According to FixedFocus, the device could arrive in the third or fourth quarter of 2026, broadly matching the launch window of the previous model. Its precise release date has not yet been confirmed.

The smartphone is expected to retain its clamshell format and external display, with a possible price of around 5,000 yuan (US$725).

Huawei’s affordable foldable strategy

The original Nova Flip launched in 2024 and quickly drew attention for pairing a competitive price with new features. In 2025, the company introduced the Nova Flip S, a lower-cost version priced at 3,488 yuan (US$500), which became Huawei’s most affordable foldable smartphone on the market.

The next Nova Flip will probably continue the brand’s distinctive design while adding refreshed software features, maintaining the company’s approach of offering affordable foldable devices.
