Aoostar MACO 470 mini PC arrives with Ryzen AI 9 HX470 and OCulink

OCulink and USB4 ports support external accelerators

Aoostar has launched the MACO 470 mini PC in China, built around AMD’s Ryzen AI 9 HX470 processor. The device comes with 32 GB of LPDDR5 memory in a compact all-metal chassis and weighs just 660 g. It is already available through JD.com.

The Ryzen AI 9 HX470 is a 12-core, 24-thread processor with boost speeds of up to 5.2 GHz. Graphics are handled by the integrated Radeon 890M, based on the RDNA 3.5 architecture, offering 16 compute units and clock speeds of up to 3.1 GHz. The system includes 32 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and provides three M.2 PCIe 4.0 slots for storage drives.

The Aoostar MACO 470 features an integrated fingerprint scanner with Windows Hello support. Cooling is provided by the Glacier 4.0 system, which combines a 5,600 mm² vapour chamber with a centrifugal fan.

Its connectivity options include two USB 3.2 Gen2 ports, two USB4 ports, HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 2.1, two 2.5 Gb Ethernet RJ-45 ports, and OCulink. The mini PC also supports simultaneous output to four displays.

The barebones configuration is priced at 5,900 yuan ($855), while the version with a 1 TB SSD costs 7,299 yuan ($1,060). A configuration fitted with a 2 TB SSD is priced at 8,599 yuan ($1,245).
