Oppo Find X9s Pro revealed ahead of official launch

Flagship gains a horizontal camera bar, a powerful chip and a battery exceeding 7,000 mAh

The Oppo Find X9s Pro has been revealed ahead of its official debut, with the company showcasing the handset’s appearance and headline specifications.

The most significant revision is the entirely redesigned rear: rather than the familiar camera island, the phone uses a horizontal strip spanning the full width of its upper section. A square camera unit is built into the left-hand side, while the flash sits separately.

Oppo Find X9s Pro display and cameras

The smartphone features a flat 6.32-inch 1.5K display with a 144 Hz refresh rate, alongside a metal frame with flat sides. Cameras are the central focus, with a Hasselblad co-developed dual 200 MP setup claimed. It comprises primary and telephoto cameras, supports shooting with a teleconverter and Hasselblad Master Mode, and can record 8K video.

Dimensity 9500 performance and 7,025 mAh battery

At its core is the Dimensity 9500 system-on-chip, paired with a 7,025 mAh battery that supports 80 W wired charging and 50 W wireless charging.

The handset is also said to offer a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, IP66, IP68 and IP69 water and dust resistance, plus the ColorOS 16 interface. It will be available in several colours, including green, white, orange and titanium.

The OPPO x Hasselblad Imaging New Product Launch Conference will take place on 21 April, where new products including the Find X9s Pro and Find X9 Ultra smartphones will be introduced.
